Address format

Addresses that need to be routed must first be placed on the map. To find the right location the address is sent to third-party geocoding services. These translate the address to coordinates. The services may require a certain format of the address for optimal results.

In general, the preferred format of the address is:

<street> <house number>, <zip code> <city>, <state>, <country>

Additional information

If you need more information with your addresses, e.g. (company) name or a customer ID, add it as additional fields at Import.
